Aza is a Senior Associate Sustainability Consultant with over 8 years of experience providing advanced technical consultation in key areas of sustainable design and construction, green building certification, and policy development. She has a long-time passion for efficiency and sustainability, commencing with an education in Architecture at the University of Toronto. Since then, she has been regularly engaged in every phase of a project, from the initial establishment of requirements to design, construction, and post-occupancy phases.
Aza leads sustainability projects across the MENA region. Her experience places her at the forefront of understanding high performance buildings, emerging clean technologies, and carbon reduction planning.
Career Highlights include:
– Successfully carried out the first CEEQUAL Assessment in the Middle East for the IDRIS project.
– Awarded ‘Best Residential Green Building of 2017’ by Qatar’s Green Building Council for Wafra Tower.
– Created the Sustainability Management Plans for 2 FIFA World Cup Stadiums.
